⚠️COVID-19 Vaccine Update⚠️

We are proud to inform you that Dyfi Valley Health has registered intent with Powys Teaching Health Board to provide the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine as soon as possible to our eligible patients based on the national priority list – (see the image from Public Health Wales).

Eligible patients will be sent a letter by Powys Teaching Health Board inviting them to attend the practice for their vaccine.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE PRACTICE AT THIS PRESENT TIME ENQUIRING ABOUT THE VACCINE, our telephone lines are incredibly busy, and we need to ensure those patients requiring urgent care can get through to us.

Once vaccines are available, we will ONLY be able to immunise the over 80s who are able to attend the practice in line with the national priority list – This will not include patients in residential or care homes as Powys Teaching Health Board are arranging these vaccinations directly. All other age cohorts and those at risk (including those who were advised to shield) will then be invited based on their priority group and stock availability. However, we will continue to keep patients informed via our website and social media when the remaining numbers on the priority list are to be vaccinated.

Many thanks, Dyfi Valley Health 🌈
